Following his pilgrim Walk to Emmaus, he volunteered and participated in many other Walks. Ed served in the National Guard for 6 years and had a
penchant for discussion of military offensives and armaments. He was a biblical scholar and history buff. He enjoyed flying, boating, motorcycles, sky diving, scuba diving, cooking, and “classic” movies.
A Celebration of Life will begin with a visitation at 1pm followed by a service at 2pm on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Bethel United Methodist Church, Spring City, PA. Ed regularly stated that he was “not into horticulture,” therefore, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church and designated for the Project Outreach Food Pantry. Interment will be private.
